Another drive through the Fann mountains: Dushanbe to Khujand and back

A rough ride through the approximately 5km unlit, unventilated Anzob tunnel, which was closed a week later for much needed repairs.

Nurek Dam

At 304 meters, the Nurek Dam is currently the second tallest dam in the world.






We drove to the top and then took a small boat out onto the reservoir.
